CPR & AED

CPR through Emergency First Response Primary Care teaches participants how to respond to life-threatening emergencies. The course focuses on primary care through a combination of knowledge development, skill development and realistic scenario practice to make sure participants have the confidence in their ability to provide care when emergency situations arise.

 Primary Care (CPR) skills taught in this course:

  • Scene Safety Assessment Universal Precautions
  • Communicable Disease Protection including barrier use
  • Primary Assessment
  • Rescue Breathing
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
  • Conscious and Unconscious Obstructed Airway Management
  • Serious Bleeding Management
  • Shock Management
  • Spinal Injury Management
  • Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training
  • Optional Skill:  Emergency Oxygen Use Orientation.


We are able to schedule classes based on your needs.  Don’t have time to wait for the next group course?  We can do a private course or organize your own small group.  Cost of the course depends on the number of people in the class.  We bill for time and a set price per person.  Prices include the textbook and 2-year certification.  A non-refunable deposit of 50% of total is required to schedule a class.  Call to 252-222-0444 to schedule a class.
